SPORTS HALL ATHLETICS
Beaverwood School hosted the Sports hall Athletics for Years 5 and 6. Eight schools enterd with over 100 children competing. All competitiors worked extremely hard and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Sports leaders from Beaverwood School helped to run each event and encouraged the children to reach their full potential. The overall winners were Keston Primary School. BEAVERWOOD CLUSTER

Pupils from Mead Road and Dorset Road Infant schools came together to participate in a multi-skills festival lead by CSLA students from Beaverwood School. The leaders did a fantastic job of adapting their activities as the first hour of the morning poured with rain! The year 2 children participated with enthusiasm and a full effort.

Ten Year 9 leaders from Beaverwood lead a multi skills festival for all Key Stage 1 pupils at Edgbury Primary School. Each year group participated in a multi skills circuit guided through each activity by the leaders. Everyone worked extremely hard and had great fun.

The Year 10 dance leaders lead a festival for schools in the Beaverwood and Coopers clusters. The girls worked hard planning and preparing their dances to teach the year 2 pupils in preparation for a final performance. 170 pupils took part over 2 days and each performed at the end of the festival. A great achievement for all involved.

ST OLAVE'S AND THE PRIORY CLUSTER

Sport Leaders from both St.Olave’s & The Priory have supported a large number of events on Primary School
sites to assist both KS1 & 2 intra & virtual inter competition opportunities.
Racket skills have been put to
the test as Yr 3 & 4 students
have tackled assault courses and speed tests with the aim
of keeping control and
exercising agility; balance and co-ordination. Yr 5 & 6 students have competed in the augural Quad kids initiative designed to promote athletic ability in both track and field events. All family schools have also been invited to put their Yr 5 students through their paces in a string of Team Elite Multi-Skill challenges.

Both Secondary Schools have ably supported Sport Days for Burwood, St Paul's Cray and Perry Hall primary schools. Feedback from each was incredibily positive as Leaders led a variety of races and events and certainly motivated children of all ages who took part.

Priory HSLA Sport Leaders arranged a special Athletics centred festival for Yr 5 % 6 students from neighbouring primary schools, Blenheim and Hillside. Approximately 100 boys and girls arived to take part in a carousel of competitive multi-skill activities that the Leaders had organised. Assault courses, sprints and standing long jump were just some of the events that all the children enjoyed.
