Pupils from 2 special schools and 4 special units joined year 7 pupils from Newstead Wood for the Inclusive Sports Festival that was hosted by The Priory on Thursday 12 June.

 

Pupils took part in speed stacking, racket games, table cricket, boccia snooker, balloon volleyball, parachute games, tri golf and completed an assault course. At the end of the afternoon all the children were entertained by the Riverside cheerleading squad.

 

Some of the activities were run by The Priory Sports Leaders who have completed their Award in Community Sports Leadership.
