Key Stage 1 Football

On 10^th and 11^th of October Kelsey Park Sports College and Kemnal Technology College hosted football festivals for infant children across both East and West Bromley Sports Partnerships. The afternoon was a great success with over 300, 5 and 6 year old girls and boys from 26 local primary schools attending. In keeping with the recent Women’s World Cup, each school represented a country and much care was given to making flags and mascots in the appropriate colours.

Players from the Bromley Football Academy, based at Kelsey Park Sports College and leaders from Kemnal ran a series of skills sessions for each team and then coached and refereed 5 a side games to finish the afternoon. The emphasis was on participation and fun.  A large number of spectators came to watch and two great festival days were had by all.
