Olympic Superstars

To celebrate National School Sports Week, Bromley School Sports Partnership organised a number of
competitions including an Olympic Superstars competition for school pupils in year 8 at The Priory
School on Thursday 3rd July.

This event offered these pupils the opportunity to try 4 Olympic Sports, some of which they had never
previously experienced.  These included Rifle Shooting, Archery, Indoor Rowing and Mountain Biking. 
With qualified instructors leading each activity, pupils made their way round in teams of 4, scoring at
each event.  Every pupil's score at each activity counted towards an overall team score.

The Priory School did exceptionally well to field a large number of teams and also win both the
Girls and the Boys team competition.  Congratulations should also go to the teams from Kelsey
Park Sports College, Beaverwood School, Coopers School and St Olaves School.
