The Aims and Vision of the Partnerships

The aim of both East and West partnerships is for all schools in Bromley to meet the Government's PSA (Public Service Agreement) which is:

"The Five Hour Offer"

All children and young people aged 5 – 16 should have the opportunity to participate in five hours of sport
per week by 2011 (including two hours of high quality PE and sport at school).

16 – 19 years three hours per week of sporting activities

Partnership funding conditions depend on schools meeting this target and completing the
annual PESSCL (PE, School Sport and Club Links) survey.

The Partnerships' vision is to provide high quality opportunities for physical activity within and beyond the curriculum for
all young people in Bromley, with an emphasis on fitness and health, competitive and non-competitive activity
for lifelong learning.
