The Year 7 Secondary SportsHall Athletics League aims to increase the number of schoolchildren taking part in athletics during the winter months. All the competitions have an emphasis on participation, rather than performance and on teams rather than individuals.

 

This year the competition will run as 3 separate leagues, one for mixed schools, one for boy’s only schools and one for girl’s only schools. The winner of each of these leagues will then go on to represent Bromley in the regional competition.

Kelsey Park Sports College, Ravenswood, The Priory School and Bishop Justus have been taking part in in SportsHall athletics competitions.  Kelsey Park and The Priory both won their leagues and will now take part in the London Semi-Final in March.  Good Luck!

Athletes will be selected to represent Kent at the regional event in Guildford on 17th February where Kent will compete against Surrey, Sussex and Middlesex.
