Following on from last year's huge success we had to split the competition into two separate venues due to the popularity of the event.

 

There where appearances from the usual schools as well as quite a few new faces this year which was great to see. The standard of play was outstanding at both tournaments which is defiantly a sign that the popularity of rugby is on the rise as is the quality of coaching.

 

All matches were played in the spirit of the game and it certainly looked as if the children enjoyed their afternoon of rugby.

 

The winners of the two events both won their titles in thrilling circumstances with sudden death needed in the East Partnership final to separate the two teams.

 

Pickhurst ran out champions of the West Partnership where as Chislehurst C of E won the East Partnership competition. These two teams will now compete for the main Bromley trophy as well as being invited to represent Bromley in the Kent championships later next year.

 

A big well done must go to all the pupils and staff that took part and we hope to see you all next year!!
